The Westin Dragonara Resort, Malta, Saint Julian's

My stay at the hotel was a mix of great experiences and some not-so-great ones. The rooms were spacious and had fantastic sea views from the 8th floor, but they were a bit too hot and uncomfortable for my liking. The service was exceptional, with unexpected birthday celebrations, efficient airport transfers, and friendly staff, although there were some billing errors. The location was breathtaking, close to vibrant nightlife but not ideal for families due to previous guests' messiness. The dining options were varied, yet limited for those with food intolerances. Overall, a memorable stay with room for improvement.

The hotel surprised me with its spacious and clean rooms, although the late check-in was a bit inconvenient. The service was exceptional, particularly the entertainment provided by Miguel, Shania, and Hayley at the Reef Club. The location offered easy access to transport while providing a peaceful atmosphere for families. The dining was diverse and satisfying, adding value to the stay.

The hotel is situated in a prime location, perfect for exploring nearby bars and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped for families with two young children. However, some design oversights like the lack of makeup space near the magnifying mirror and limited hair-drying options were noticeable. The views from the balconies were stunning, overlooking the pool and the sea.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the location was superb, with easy access to the local nightlife and a peaceful setting, the construction noise near my room was a real downside that affected my overall enjoyment. The service was decent, with friendly staff but lacking a bit in attentiveness. The dining options were varied and catered to different tastes, which was a plus. However, the constant vibrations from the construction took away from the otherwise pleasant stay.

The hotel had warm rooms with a weird smokey smell that took a few days to dissipate, which was less than ideal for non-smokers. However, the large rooms offered great views, and the exceptional service from the staff, such as Ramon and Rindian at the bar and restaurant, and the pool bar, made our stay unforgettable. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel without hesitation.
